Keady 2-11 to 2-12 Clan Na Gael (13/09/15)

The seniors came agonisingly close to getting the victory needed to keep alive hopes of remaining in the Intermediate division next year losing by the minimum.

Despite conceding a goal in the first minute and another one not long after and going 7 points down, the boys kept working and chipping away at the lead until finally getting all level with only minutes left to play. Unfortunately it wasn't enough and Clan Na Gael scored a very late point of their own to win the game.

It is a game that with the smallest bit of luck we could've won which makes it all the more agonising. Credit must go to the boys for this battling performance, Clan Na Gael will count themselves lucky to be leaving with a win.

Disappointingly we will be playing Junior Football again next season. Thanks to management and those players who were committed to the cause this year. Now we must look forward and start planning for next season.
